Product Engineer
Design and ship features end to end across our web apps, from the database to the pixels, with security and speed built in.
SudoSecurity runs a security and developer community: the blog, Forums and Learn, the free security tools, Hardline (our open-source Rust server hardening CLI) and Elevated hardened hosting. Everything we ship is held to three rules: security-minded, performance-driven and modern in design.
What you'll do
- Build and ship features across Forums & Learn, Billing, our account system and the free tools.
- Own work end to end: data model, API, UI, tests and deployment.
- Make every page fast and mobile-first, since most of our readers are on a phone.
- Treat security as a feature: auth, input validation, CSP and least privilege by default.
What we're looking for
- Strong TypeScript and modern web experience (React or similar, server rendering, SQL/Postgres).
- Product sense: you can turn a rough idea into a clean, usable feature.
- Care for performance budgets, accessibility and small dependency footprints.
- Bonus: Bun, TanStack, Supabase, Ghost or open-source work we can look at.
